I logged into Adsense today to find that my earnings were dramatically lower than average, and then I realized that my number one performer - the unique content site that I’ve been working on for years - had gotten a nice handful of visitors today but no clicks. Then I went to the site and realized that my Adsense ads across the site are displaying the same gaudy image home loan ad - WTF?!? It’s like the ugliest non-targeted ad. I guess they’re experimenting or something, but if it doesn’t change soon I’m going to have to switch it out with something else.
Anyone else’s Adsense doing weird things?

Do you not use the “Text Ads Only” option?

No, I was thinking to changing to that if it keeps up.

Ok, I changed it and they’re all on-target now - good idea, thanks

You can also disallow a specific company from displaying on your site. I did that during tax season, when some hideous h&r block ads were coming up on all my sites.
Switching to “text only” may hurt you…cause sometimes the images ads pay nicely.

Tyler bet me to the punch!
I was going to suggest changing your adsense to be text only as well.
Glad to see you have it fixed.
Have a great day,
Shannon

I did have some great on-target image tags before, so I may change it back sometime… haha, I’m always too lazy to block out certain ads, but I guess that would have done the trick too. Yesterday was a real low earner for me, so it really would have paid off! Thanks guys.
