…they have really been working hard to make this move work, and I think we’re almost at a point of a successful move.
The bad news is that TLA paused many of my ads since the sites were down overnight which resulted in a $400 drop for the month’s projection - I just hope that gets cleared up soon.
Argh, the perils of a little success… one step forward, two steps back.

Don’t worry about TLA, once your sites are back up, they will reinstate them and your income will return (minus the few days you were down). I totally feel your pain about hostgator. I host many many blogs with them for several years now and have rarely had a problem. However last month I was trying to move a client’s site (from one hostgator server to another hostgator server) and I got bumped into the “administrators tech support” …this is where you go if the problem is the tiniest bit complicated…and access is only via email rather than chat or phone for the little stuff. The waiting between emails was excruciating. They would email me for clarification …I would email them back within minutes and then I had to wait 24 hours for another email. It was very painful!! ….not to mention that it took freaking forever! (I think it was about 2 weeks).
I am going to move my major money maker somewhere off of hostgator because of this specific problem. …but now I’ve read your story…I will definitely test test test!! before I switch over the DNS.
take care!

I read your post about it - that’s awful! Especially since you couldn’t just pick up the phone and fix it. And the sad thing is, I have yet to find a great host that’s much better.
Yes, and I will test next time, too! - I guess I learned a little something from all of this…
