I’m dying here

July 11th, 2007 · 4 Comments

I knew it. Yesterday HostGator wrote to me that everything was moved over - so I changed the DNS settings. This morning I wake up to find that none of my blogs will open… I can just picture it now… all of my link partners, all of the people who bought links from me are probably just dropping off, Google’s probably dropping all the pages… lovely!

So I switched back to the BlueHost DNS settings and am just waiting for things to get back to… well… better than this!

Also, any other recommendations for hosting??? Needs to have cpanel.

    I use GoDaddy hosting … it has a C-Panel.

Really? I wonder if they’re competent enough to move it correctly for me…

    Thanks for the suggestion!

    Jenn -

I use Midphase, as they’re recommended by a high-traffic blog (copyblogger.com). They have cpanel.

I’ve had no problems so far,but I’m not high traffic yet :-)

What I do now when I make a move, (I forget how many hosts I have been through.)
anyway, I have a domain name now just for testing, I switch it first if it works then I start doing my real ones one at a time.
If they can’t get the test one up and running it doesn’t cost you anything and you know there is a problem.
